Examining ways to organize and administer school and classroom reading programs. Examining issues relating to program types, reading assessment, grouping, grade level articulation, and supervision.

Administration

  • Students will be able to identify core issues of administration and supervision of literacy programs.

Responsibility

  • Students will be able to explain various roles and responsibilities of literacy specialists.

Evaluation

 

  • Students will be able to plan effective literacy teacher and program evaluations, including how materials should be selected for use in literacy programs.
