Adam Woolley
Dean
Adam Woolley, who started his term as the dean of Graduate Studies in May 2021, is a professor in BYU’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Woolley’s scholarship is directed at the interface between miniaturization and biomolecules. He develops microfluidic devices for chemical analysis with an emphasis on biomedically relevant assays, and he is utilizing biomolecules to self-assemble nanoscale electronic systems.
Logan Gillette
Assistant Dean, Graduate Admissions and Recruitment
Logan Gillette is the Assistant Dean of Graduate Admissions and Recruitment. He currently oversees all recruitment, admission, and enrollment processes for the approximately 3,000 domestic and international applicants who apply to BYU’s 90+ graduate programs each year.
James Crane
Assistant Dean, Curriculum and Professional Development
James Crane is the Assistant Dean of Curriculum and Professional Development. He manages curriculum review activities by the Graduate Curriculum Council. He also oversees Professional Development initiatives for 3300 graduate students and advises the Graduate Student Society (GSS) Presidency.
