Analysis of theoretical and philosophical issues in the discipline of psychology.

1. Critically examine and evaluate contemporary thinkers

Students will critically examine and evaluate the work of select contemporary thinker(s) in the theory and philosophy of psychology.

Measurement: Essay assignments.

2. Assess viability of the work of selected thinkers

Students will assess the conceptual and practical viability of the work of the selected thinker(s) by means of a critical analysis of the basic assumptions of their work and its implications for the theory and practice of contemporary psychology.
