Students will be able to successfully lead individual and group weight management sessions.
Weight Management Program Design
Students will be able to design successful weight management programs viable for long-term weight loss success, based on current literature.
Literature Review and Strategy Development
Students will be able to synthesize current literature on preventing excess weight gain and be able to develop practical strategies to prevent obesity at the national, state, local, and family levels.

Students will be able to critically examine weight loss/management strategies for safety and long-term weight management viability.
