Focuses on the various Islams (Sunni, Shia, and Sufi) and groups of interest (Hezbolah, al-Qaeda, Taliban, etc.) and how they influence areas of interest (e.g., Middle East).
Vocabularies of other religions
Be able to define and explain the key vocabulary words associated with each of the world religions.
How other religions prepare for the Gospel
Be able to explain how the truths in other religions are preparing God’s children for the additional truths and the saving ordinances found only within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Understanding factors/issues of Asiatic religions
Be able to compare and contrast key factors related to each of the religions
Differentiating between World (Asiatic) religions
Be able to provide thoughtful analysis of the issues that exist within and between the world religions
Other religions as preparatory for the Gospel
Be able to describe the incredible breadth of God’s work and of the added depth and beauty that the Restored Gospel has to offer to the world.
