Focuses on how religion influences our national policy and more specifically provides a framework for assessing how religion impacts the military operational environment where chaplains advise commanders.

Know the vocabulary of the world religions

Define and explain the key vocabulary words associated with each of the world religions.

Guidance from God for all seekers of truth

Provide evidence that God provides guidance to all people who seek truth, and that he prepares them for greater light as they are ready for it

Preparatory truths of other religions

Be able to explain how the truths in other religions are preparing God’s children for the additional truths and the saving ordinances found only within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Compare and contrast key world theologies

Be able to compare and contrast key factors/theologies related to each of the religions

A deeper appreciation of gospel truths in comparative contex

Be able to describe the incredible breadth of God’s work and of the added depth and beauty that the Restored Gospel has to offer to the world.
