Methodology in and resources for research in the four areas of focus: Church History and Doctrine, Old Testament, New Testament, and Book of Mormon.

Scholarly and Critical Thinking Skills

Students will be able to think and discuss critically and scholarly about church history and doctrine, yet do so in a "household of faith."

Research and Writing Skills

Students will be able to demonstrate the skills of essential note-taking, footnote citations, and clarity of writing requisite for writing graduate-level research papers

Document Analysis Skills

Students will be able to write a graduate level document analysis paper.

Bibliographic Essay Skills

Students will be able to write a graduate level bibliographical essay.
