The principles and practices associated with the ethics of counseling.

Attending to the ethical needs of others

Students will be able to ethically attend to the social, emotional spiritual needs of the persons for whom he has stewardship.

Combining the ethical with spiritual behavior

Students must be able to defend criteria that religious communities use to define the ethical or moral in behavior and attitudes and that inform a spiritual wholeness with which we approach life.

Be an example in word and deed

To be able to explain how and why in our service to others, we can be an example, in word and deed, of the principles, doctrines, and beliefs that help turn people to god.

Identify the codes of ethics

Be able to identify the codes of ethics representative of clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy and family life education, honorable military service, corporate action and the chaplaincy.
