Supervised assessment and intervention, integrating psychopathology diagnosis and treatment.

1. Evaluate client concerns, formulate intervention strategies

Students will appropriately evaluate Comprehensive Clinic client mental health concerns through psychological assessment and will formulate and implement empirically-supported intervention strategies.

Measurement: a) The practicum supervisor will evaluate the student's work with Comprehensive Clinic clients using the Practicum Rating Form which is based on the American Psychological Association's Assessment of Competency Benchmarks. b) The practicum student will pass the Psychodiagnostic Assessment Comprehensive Exam at the end of the second year and the Psychotherapy Comprehensive Exam at the end of the third year.
