Theory and techniques employed in psychotherapy that focus on relationship and psychodynamic approaches.

1. Concepts in a variety of therapeutic orientations

Students will identify and describe key principles and concepts in a variety of therapeutic orientations. 

Measurement: Writing assignments, weekly quizzes, exam

2. Learn and role play therapeutic skills

Students will be able to learn and role play key therapeutic skills and critique each other's performance.

Measurement: In class role plays, demonstration session. 

3. IIntegrate understanding of key ideas

Students will be able to integrate understanding of key ideas.

Measurement: Writing assignments, final exam.
