Assesses chronic and acute health problems commonly seen in children and adolescents in primary care settings using appropriate health assessment skills, utilizing applicable diagnostic testing, and integrating family theories
Evidence Based Practice
Evaluates the latest/current evidence for screening, differential diagnosis, and management of pediatric health problems
Therapeutic Health Plans
Develops therapeutic health plans for pediatric conditions using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapeutic modalities
Patient Education
Provides appropriate health promotion and maintenance and disease prevention, anticipatory guidance and patient education in a culturally appropriate manner
