Students will prepare for their thesis/dissertation defense by exhibiting the ability to critically evaluate their current research questions by explaining the data already obtained, further anticipated outcomes, and possible alternative approaches.

Students will demonstrate the oral, interpretive, and organizational skills required to present progress made on their research in a concise, informative, and professional manner.

Students will be able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of the presentations by fellow students in a constructive, helpful, and professional manner.
