Graduate-level principles and contemporary developments in neural science. Structure-function relationships and integration of biophysical, molecular, and/or cellular neuroscience.
Students will exhibit the ability to critically evaluate current neuroscience manuscripts and explain the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscripts and the individual experiments in each manuscript.
Students will demonstrate the oral, interpretive, and organizational skills required to orally present a scientific study in a concise, informative, and professional manner.
Students will be able to articulate the key concepts of modern neuroscience in written and oral formats.
Students will demonstrate that they have mastered the key elements of research design and methodologies employed by scientists on the frontier of modern neuroscience research
