Child and adolescent development in the context of social interaction, with particular emphasis on the family. Current theory and research evaluated.

Critical Analysis

Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze and critique current literature on children and youth.

Research Proposal

Students will produce a graduate-level, testable research proposal on children and youth.

Data Management

Students will become familiar with data sets suitable for testing hypotheses on children and youth.
