The formative ideas in philosophy and psychology used to conduct and evaluate scholarly inquiry in education. Includes basic issues, inquiry methods, and forms of scholarly analysis.

Understanding of Inquiry

By reading, discussing, and writing about a selection of classic writings about the purpose, practice, and challenges of research in the social and human sciences, students will gain a deepened understanding of the nature of inquiry and the ethical and moral obligations encumbered when conducting research and reporting results.
