Students will identify and discuss contemporary issues regarding media and religion.

 

Appreciation

Students will examine and appreciate media and religion-related issues outside their own tradition.

Theory

Students will locate and differentiate theories and models commonly used or appropriate for use in examining the relationship between media and religion.

Evaluation

Students will identify and evaluate common methodologies and variables used in the study of media and religion.

Research

Students will complete a research paper or theory-based analysis worthy of submission to a national or regional conference.
