The following topics are rotated: cellular signal transduction, clinical chemistry, biochemical immunology, bioinorganic chemistry, genetic modeling of human disease, molecular biology of cancer, regulatory RNA, proteomics, and structural biochemistry.

Explore multiple research programs

Create an opportunity for students to explore multiple research programs within the department in a meaningful way, and get to know the people in each lab.

Short (4 week) rotation

Give students and faculty members the opportunity to work with each other during a short (4 week) rotation where the student will work in the lab and attend group meeting.

Place students in the best research lab

Provide a structure that will allow the department to place students in the best research lab for them at the beginning of the Winter semester.
