Responsible Research Conduct

Graduate-level course to instruct students on ethical and responsible conduct on topics such as experimental design, data acquisition, professional and collaborative relationships, authorship, and scientific outreach.
Research Ethics
Students will learn from real-life examples how to conduct research ethically and responsibly. Topics include conflict of interest, human and animal subjects, data management, research misconduct policies, and authorship.
Professionalism
Students will learn from real-life examples the importance of proper professional behavior, including mentor/mentee relationships, collaboration ethics, peer review, and societal impact.
