The Dean of Students Office helps to plan, direct, and oversee out-of-classroom experiences and services provided through the 12 departments in the Campus Life Division. In addition to this administrative role, the Dean of Students Office provides the following direct resources and services:

  1. Assists students in times of crisis or in emergencies
  2. Conducts consultations to help students access needed services from across campus
  3. Helps international students access their deposits
  4. Administers the annual Dean of Students Photo Contest 
  5. Administers the annual Student Affairs Discussion Series
  6. Provides notary services as needed
  7. Offers a graduate internship in Student Affairs
  8. Works on university initiatives to address student needs today and prepare for the future

In the Dean of Students Office there is one Dean, Sarah Westerberg, and two Associate Deans, Casey Peterson and Nathan Ward. Each oversee specific departments in Campus Life  and are available to help students in need.
