    Program Requirements
The MS degree concentrates on establishing a sound theoretical foundation and on exposing students to advanced developments in electrical and computer engineering. The critical thinking and high level of mathematical and algorithmic facility required by graduate courses allow MS graduates to provide technical leadership and contribute to innovative research and development.

The MS degree typically takes two years to complete and involves a significant experiential learning component. Students work closely with a faculty adviser, develop the research and design tools necessary to participate in the leading-edge developments in the discipline, contribute to published scholarly articles, and report their work in a thesis. Applicants for MS program should indicate their research interests and preferred faculty advisor.
