Students will be able to read and interpret the law of negotiable instruments under Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Article 3.

Check Collection

Students will understand the check collection process under UCC Article 4, certain Federal Reserve Board Regulations, and the Expedited Funds Availability Act.

Electronic Funds Transfers

Students will be able to evaluate electronic funds transfers under UCC Article 4A and the Federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act.

Business & Technological Context

Students will understand the business and technological context in which the law of commercial paper operates.
