Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of at least one particular aspect of contemporary critical theory (e.g. deconstruction, film studies, feminism, cultural studies, psychoanalysis, cultural studies).

Demonstrate an awareness of the role critical theory plays in the profession vis-รก-vis professional conferences, publication in scholarly journals, and in teaching.
