Understand and explain the principal doctrines within Christian thought and

be able to discuss the development of these doctrines over time.

Compare various/contrasting Christian theologies

Be able to compare and contrast various theologians and their doctrinal positions and

clearly demonstrate how how these doctrines affect the living of the Christian life.
